What are the units of “mag” when plotting graphs?

My input power is 1 watt. Is the "mag" also in units of watts?

      Hi Tenyu,

Thank you for reaching out to the Ansys learning forum.

Please note that the scattering (S) - parameters are unitless as they are defined as the ratio of powers or voltages. Kindly go through this free AIS course on S-parameters for better understanding - Basics of S-parameters | Ansys Innovation Courses.

      Best regards,
      Praneeth.

So, if they are dimensionless, that means I can multiply them by the input power of 1 Watt to get the power transmitted and reflected. Would that be correct?

The unit of "mag" is also present if you want to plot the passivity, so what is this unit representative of?
