Water Column Heat Flux

Hello, I have a 2D water column that have a heatsource to the left, and oil to the right. Why does the majority of the water has heatflux of 0 except for the extreme edges?

      Hi,

Fluent directly calculates heat flux on the boundaries. In Fluent, heat transfer coefficient (h) is a derived quantity using reference temperature, adjacent fluid temperature and heat flux.

For the internal flows, reference temperature is the mass flow average temperature.

Can you please check the reference temperature?

      Thank you

Hello, the initial temperature is 20C and the reference temperature at max 95C is 71C. Is the internal heat flux always 0? Thank you.
