SubscriberHi all ,
At the moment I am trying to implement ANSYS infinite elements. I follows VM291 verification example as mentioned. It is working perfectly fine in ANSYS APDL.
But I want to bring this model to Workbench through, External model. So that I can visualize easily. But I can not implement or the model is not fully imported to ANSYS Workbench
What is the reason?.
Thank you very much

SubscriberI don't know for sure if this will work, but you are welcome to try it.
To do this in Workbench, I suggest you have two surfaces in SpaceClaim or DesignModeler and those surface bodies are configured to Share Topology.
Then you can arrange to mesh the surface that represents the infinite elements with exactly one element across the "thickness".
Set the mesh to use Quadratic elements because I can see midside nodes in the figure.
Finally, you can use a Command Object under the body to assign the element type as can be seen in some examples on this site.
