View/Export animation of surface heating along a path

      Hello,

I am using transient thermal to simulate a small region of a half sphere heated by a heat flux. I want to see how the surface heats up and so I created a Path and then  I plotted the temperature along the path. That worked well, but the thing is I'd like to be able to animate the temperature rise along the path. I see there is no way to do it in Mechanical, so I thought I could simply export the temperature values along the path for all the time steps and produce the animation in MATLAB.

The problem is that I have to manually update each time step through a process (see the graphics below) before I can then export the data to be analysed and animated externally. There are hundreds of timesteps and so this is not practical. Is there a way to export all of the data along the path or in any form that could be used to do this? I need each time step to be accessible.

      Thank you.

Have you tried to use the multi-object export extension here: Ansys Store Multi Object ExportV1.1 created by Ansys Inc ?

It also has source code, so you can change it to suit your needs.
