Hi everyone

Is vertex average suitable for monitoring variables (velocity and pressure) on probs (defined points into the domain) in transient simulations?

The best way to judge is to create the point and then use the surface integrals to check the value of the various options: you need to initialise first. Then pick the one that makes sense. Assuming the mesh is sufficiently refined, vertex mean, max and min should be reasonably close.
