SubscriberWhat is the difference between swirl velocity and swirl angular velocity in Fluent terms? The Fluent user manual defines them differently. When I gave the values for both swirl(tangential) velocity and angular velocity, the swirl number got doubled. Technically, they should be same. How are they defined in Fluent? Can anyone explain?

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Refer to setting Angular Velocity from Fluent User's Guide. The swirl velocity due to your input of angular velocity will be added to the tangential component on top.

SubscriberI got that. But, how is Fluent differentiating Tangential and Angular velocities! They both are dependent on each other.
