SubscriberHello, I am using the quality factor analysis group in this tutorial to calculate the quality factor of a cavity: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041611774-Quality-factor-calculations-for-a-resonant-cavity
Â
However, I use a plane wave source from 300-700 nm but the resonance peaks that I get from the above analysis group are from 900-1400 nm. Shouldn't the resonance peaks be in the same range as a the source used in the simulation? how to fix that?Â
Â
Thanks

Ansys EmployeeHello! Thanks for the question, and it was great that you provided the link. I was able to check the file you are referencing.
I believe the issue is due to the fact that you need to change the minimum and maximum wavelength settings for the DFT Monitor. This monitor supplies data used by the Qanalysis group. In order to measure the resonance between 300 and 700 nm, you can make this change:
Let us know if this doesn't do the trick for your simulation.
