July 6, 2023 at 2:30 pmJim DayAnsys EmployeeThere's no switch to make the explicit solver linear in the same sense that implicit can be made linear. Explicit always considers finite displacements and rotations. That said, if the material is *MAT_ELASTIC and there is no contact and the deformation is small, the explicit solution should agree with a linear implicit solution. I would recommend double precision however.
