Use of ANSYS Fluent Student Version for Academic research

Hey, I have used the ANSYS Workbench and Fluent Academic Versions in my research. I am a B.Tech. Final year student and need to publish my work for getting the "Honours" degree.

Thus, I wanted to know whether I can publish the results generated using Academic license. Please let me know.

It's covered here  https://www.ansys.com/academic/terms-and-conditions#tab1-4   Note the distinction between Ansys Student (free so you can learn) and Academic Research.  But... when you say "publish" do you mean lab reports and the like or journal papers?

I mean journal papers. I have read some other questions on this forum and they have been allowed to do so. But they are old so wanted to know if the policy has changed.

I think you need Research for that, but will get someone who can say to post.

Hi, I can confirm what Rob said. Only Research Academic Version can be used. Your univerisy shoud have them. You can verify with your teacher.

      Regards,

      Luca
