Hi!

I'm trying to perform a very simple thermal analyss, but i'm getting a:

"An unknown error occurred during solution.  Check the Solver Output on the Solution Information object for possible causes."

The Solution Information says that i have "NUMBER OF ERROR   MESSAGES ENCOUNTERED = 0"

Model is very simple:

• Half cylinder with a hole through
• Ambient temp = 4degC
• Internal temp = 121degC
• convection load = 0.1W/mmWC

Only getting to errors i the file0.err

I have defined only thermal properties for my material: 

 

Any thoughts?

Not sure exactly what it is – can you try solving with the default Structural Steel material instead of your own material.

Same error occured using standard structural steel

Hi

Try and save it in a local file and do not use strange characters for folder path and file name (.wbpj).

 

Also turn off DMP (distributed solve).
