Unknown error in Static Structural

      Hello everyone!

I am simulating a tensile test in ansys 17.1, but I got an error every time I put a 0.25 mm size element in my mesh.

This is what it says: An unknown error occurred during solution. Check the Solver Output on the Solution Information object for possible causes.

I am going to attach the solver output, in case is necessary.

      I thank you in advance.

Ansys staff can not download the files from the student community, Open the file and search for "error" and "warning"

and copy then paste them in your reply.

Hello. Thank you for the quick response.

      This is what I found:

The model data was checked and warning messages were found.

Please review output or errors file (

       C:Usersgus_qAppDataLocalTempWB_LAPTOP-7LITBE7E_gus_q_8024_5_Proj

jectScratchScr29DCfile0.err ) for these warning messages.

available on the system = 7707 MB.  Please decrease the model size, or

run this model on another system with more physical memory.

Clear some space on your hard drive.  see below

I think this error is referring to RAM memory. In that case, reduce the number of elements in the mesh, or install more RAM. It might also help if the computer is Restarted to remove other programs from memory before starting the solver.

You are right on the RAM, I made a mistake when skimming over it and missed the physical memory part.

hey! i am facing a similar error in the solution of non-linear analysis of a masonry structure. the following error is being displayed.

       *** ERROR ***     SUPPRESSED MESSAGE    CP =      84.062   TIME= 20:27:43

The model data was checked and there were errors found.

Please check output or errors file.

kindly help me out if you know. thanking you in advance.
