I performed random vibration analysis after modal analysis, but Ansys shows me this error; I have no idea what caused this error. I have also checked that in the control settings of Modal, it is already 'Programmed controlled' for storing modal results. Any help??

Open the Static Structural model that the Modal is linked to and set the Future Analysis setting as shown below. Solve the Static Structural model, then Solve the Modal analysis then solve the Random Vibration analysis.

I am only performing the modal analysis (to get the natural frequency of my model) for the random vibration; see image below.

Is it important to solve the static structural analysis first before modal? I don't have any pre-stresses. Hence I didn't solve static structural; please help as my project is at halt, and I'm new to Ansys.

I have attached the settings my modal analysis has. What should I tweak to get my job done?

Please read my previous post and do what I said, but also Solve the Static Structural, even if you have to put some insignificant load on it. Then solve the Modal. Does that make a difference?

I am getting this error now:

In Static Structural, right click on the Solution branch and Clear Generated Data. You don't want to Restart. Then click Solve.
