SubscriberI performed random vibration analysis after modal analysis, but Ansys shows me this error; I have no idea what caused this error. I have also checked that in the control settings of Modal, it is already 'Programmed controlled' for storing modal results. Any help??

SubscriberIs it important to solve the static structural analysis first before modal? I don't have any pre-stresses. Hence I didn't solve static structural; please help as my project is at halt, and I'm new to Ansys.

SubscriberPlease read my previous post and do what I said, but also Solve the Static Structural, even if you have to put some insignificant load on it. Then solve the Modal. Does that make a difference?

SubscriberIn Static Structural, right click on the Solution branch and Clear Generated Data. You don't want to Restart. Then click Solve.
