I've done the electromagnetic analysis on a coil model in workbench and I intend to import the body force to the model for structural analysis in static structrual module. Considering the structural model is much more complex in geometry, I used hypermesh to generate the mesh which is imported through external model to static structrual.
Then the error goes: "Have Foce Option" "Exporting Volume Force Density Without Scaling... Error finding elements hosting control points"Â
I have no idea how comes the error and I did an little experiment on a very simple model, camparing worchbench generating the mesh itself and importing mesh for hypemsh, which gives out that the error is brought by hypermesh way.
The ET is set as SOLID185.Â
Thks in advance

The most common problem when not using the same geometry as in Maxwell (linking geometry cells) is that the geometry is located differently or using dfferent units so is scaled differently. That would be why it can't fnd elements where the data points are located. Check the locations of some corners in the Maxwell mode and the model in Ansys Mechanical to ensure the same locations (and same units).
