SubscriberHello, I am new to ansys. For my thesis project I have to do simulation of Ultrasonic Welding. Ultrasonic Welding of composite material. But alas I can't find anything or can't figure out how to do this. I need to find the welding strength, how much temperature this weld generate in the material, what should be the optimum parameters to gain maximum weld strength etc.
Is it possible in Ansys? If so how? Or any software you know
If yes, I humbly request all of you to help me. I have lost my path in this I badly needed guidelines.

SubscriberHave you searched for and read any of the academic papers on the simulation of ultrasonic welding?
The link below is such a search.

I want to do an ultrasonic welding simulation. I designed a simple horn (catenodial). I did the harmonic analysis on the horn to find the frequency response, from this natural frequency response, I need to find how much heat was generated on the tip of that horn. I also did a transient thermal analysis to find the amount of heat at the tip. But i did not find any way to give frequency as an input.
Could anyone help me with that ?
