UDM data not showing in CFD-Post

      Hi everyone,

I'm using UDM (User-Defined Memory) and UDS (User-Defined Scalars) in Fluent for custom calculations. Both work fine in Fluent, but when I export results to CFD-Post, only UDS variables appear - UDM data is missing. How to fix?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Switch to save either .cdat with those fields added or Legacy format .dat.gz  By default CFD Post takes a smaller subset of data to keep the files sizes manageable and/or because Fluent calculates some values when requested as opposed to storing them.

Note, other than a few animation functions Fluent's post processing is generally better than CFD Post. Even the transient data management is moving to Fluent.

“Thank you for your reply. What I'm currently working on is related to turbomachinery calculations, and the Turbo mode in CFD-Post is more convenient for this.”

Sure, so you'll need to add those fields to the .cdat or check the Legacy .dat.gz (UDMs will be included but not CFFs).
