SubscriberHello,I am trying to simulate cough droplets spreading through mouth using ANSYS fluent. I want to export the particle history data but when I export, it says DPM Iteration... in the console and the file that is exported is only 2 kB in size and does not show the track of the particles. Why can't I export particle history data and how can I fix this? Are there other ways to show the track of the particles? Thank you in advance.nHere is my setup:nTime-> TransientnGravity-> Y:-9.81 m/s^2nViscous-> k-eplsilon, RealizablenSpecies Model -> Species TransportnDiscrete phase on (I added injections and set its velocity etc.)nBoundary Conditions:nInlet DPM:escape (I also set the velocity and the turbulence intensity)nWall DPM:trapnInitialize:HybridnCalculation Activities:Autosave every (time steps) 1 -> Automatic Export-> Create particle history data exportnRun Calculation:nType-> FixednNumber of Time Steps:300nTime Step Size:0.01nMax Iterations:20nReporting interval:1nProfile update interval:1n -

SubscriberI think it does not work when I don't turn energy equations on. It works now. I'm very new to Ansys. Sorry for late reply. Thank you very much.nThis is what it says when energy equations are off:n(dpm-print-summary): no DPM per-injection summaries allocated on individual zones.(dpm-print-summary): no DPM per-injection summaries allocated on individual zones.n -

Forum ModeratorYou don't need energy on. Click on help and work through the tutorials, at least one of them is likely to involve DPM somewhere. n
