Hi,

i installed 2021R2 multiple times however the toolbox only ever shows the systems in the toolbox as shown in the pic.

Tried resetting the layout and views to no avail. Im running Win 11 .

Where did the installation files come from?
What is the name of the folder that has the file setup.exe that you are using?

i downloaded the setup from the ansys website. The name of the folder that has the setup file is'' ANSYSACADEMICSTUDENT_2021R2_WINX64''.
I had to unrar the zip file and then install via administrator.

I noticed that ansys is not listed under installed programs in win 11. Could this be an indication of a faulty installation?

We don't officially support Win11 at present, so it's possible it's a problem with the operating system. Download & extract the folder again & see if it's an installation problem.

I did that but sadly it doesnt work still. It is not showing up on installed programs.

I had the same issue as you (only CDF apps were shown in the Workbench) and I managed to solve the problem. Try running Fluent from the workbench. If you get a license error -88309 then we have the same issue. I am also running windows 11.

Oh i will try that. My issue is that i need to start a static mechanical analysis so even if fluent works it doesnt solve my issue but i will download and try again and inform you.
