SubscriberHi.
When I am importing my Solidworks file to ansys, all the various filets are being converted into individual surface bodies. I need everything to be just one whole body part. Right now, I have 14 bodies.
Kindly let me know how to convert it into an individual body part.

SubscriberHi Mini,
I assume you are using SpaceClaim to open the SolidWorks file. If the SW file contains a solid, you should be able to get that solid into ANSYS.
In SW, do File, Save As and select Parasolid as the file type.
In ANSYS, open DesignModeler, then use FIle, Import External Geometry File and point to the Parasolid file, then click Generate. This is almost guaranteed to give you a solid body.
Another approach, if you are in SpaceClaim, is to click on the Repair tab and use the Stitch command, or on the Design tab, use the Fill command.

SubscriberHi Use Sew in body operation.
Select bodies to use in a sewing operation. Upon clicking Generate, ANSYS DesignModeler will attempt to sew the selected Surface bodies together where they have edges common to within a given tolerance. -

SubscriberI have tried the following:Â
1) In ANSYS, open DesignModeler, then use FIle, Import External Geometry File and point to the Parasolid file, then click Generate. This is almost guaranteed to give you a solid body.Â
This still gives me surface bodies.
2) Sew in body operation.
The surface bodies are sewn into 1 body but they are still surface bodies.
However, the body still remains a surface body and I am unable to do my analysis as ANSYS recognizes the bodies as surface bodies rather than solid bodies.Â

Is my only option to save it as a Parasolid file in Solidworks? Is it possible to check my file and advise me?Â

SubscriberI used ANSYS 19.2, opened DesignModeler and used File > Import External Geometry File and pointed to Assembly.x_t
I see four solid bodies.
The Hip Implant is in two parts. Use Form New Part to put them into a single part. That will allow the mesh to connect the two bodies using a common set of nodes. You could do the same with Part2 if you want.
The SW assembly file you provided doesn't point to the SW part files you provided.

If I open Hip Stem in SW (SLDPRT) I see there is one feature that you forgot to check Merge result so you ended up with two bodies.
