Time-averaging while Species Transport in activated

      Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there is any problem that would happen when I activate the time averaging in the LES simulations when the Species Transport is activated?

      Thanks in advance

Fancy giving us a hint? I'm not aware of any problems, but also haven't tried it.

      Thank you for your reply.
So I have 5000ppm CO2 patched in a domain and it will be removed from the domain through a transient process in LES. I wanted to know when we start time-averaging for flow characteristics such as velocity, pressure, etc. we need to initialize the flow statistics to remove the statistical results of the initial runs before time averaging. Hence, does this statistical initialization have any effect on the tracer gas decay calculations

The time averaged data doesn't overwrite the main time step data so as long as you aren't initialising the flow you're fine.

How about the initializing the flow statistics? by this command: /solve/initialize/init-flow-statistics
Does it have anything to do with CO2 concentration? (I can run the time-average model and see if there is something wrong with it, but it is good to know if there are any fundamentals faults related to it)
      Many thanks!
