SubscriberI've been trying to learn Thermal Simulation for a solid material.
Ive been following the below video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCwNlUpaZ-M&t=1542sThis is the mesh, where all the geometry are blocks and at ends of each geometry, rectangles have been added as Current Source and Voltage Ground. The Blocks are specified for "Joule Heating"
I've added a thermal modifier
if(Temp <= 22, 1, 1/(1 + 0.0039 * (Temp - 22))) and then tried to validate the material. It showed no errors.
Overall setup validation is not showing any warning, just 2 warnings which are the source rectangles are touching the Block(Im assuming that is okay).
After I start analyzing below is the error in the message window..
Failed to generate solver input file 2 (01:04:03 PM Jul 24, 2024)
Please check Bulk Conductivity or Thermal modifier of Joule Heating material ( Cu-Pure ). (01:04:03 PM Jul 24, 2024)
How do I solve this..
I tried changing the Bulk modulus also still no effect.. Is something wrong with my Thermal Modifier Equation. I tried changing materials also. Still no change in the output.

Ansys EmployeeHi Jebin,
In the View/Edit material panel, can you check Electromagnetic and show me what you have for Bulk Conductivity? Thanks.
