Can I use input of temperature in heat energy (calories / joules) in thermal analysis? If not, any way around to convert from calories to degree celsius?Â
thanks in advance -

Please describe all the boundary conditions on an image of the geometry. Are you asking about a Steady State Thermal analysis or a Transient Thermal analysis?
You can convert calories to Joules, but where is that energy initially and where do you expect it to transfer to?

Its stead state thermal analysis. Calories can be converted to joules but I cant find a way to input joules as parameter. This energy is to be applied on a triangular block (example I am trying out). This energy will be transferred as convection to water as fluid around it.Â
