Good evening,
Could you please tell me what can cause this spike in the beginning of the dynamic response? I get it each time when I run the simulation. The different parameters have been changed. But this spike keeps appearing every time.Â
I am working with a circuit that contains several micro-ring resonators. But even when I use only one MRR, this spike appears.
Â
Thank you in advance!

Hello Nazym,
It is normal. "The overshoot and ringdown behavior, is expected when one considers the dynamics of the cavity resonance.
You can find more information here:Â " INTERCONNECT: Enabling time and frequency domain simulation of photonic integrated circuits with microring modulators (lumerical.com)
ThanksÂ
