SubscriberGood afternoon,
An equal pressure is being applied on both side spars in order to deform the middle part.I have tried the fixed the support and aplly remote displacement but the maximum tension appears to be on the green circle instead of the red area. I also tried to insert remote displacement on the COG node with all 6 DOF 0 and all this erros appear.
Can anybody help me here?
best

Ansys EmployeeHi Beatriz. The last 3 warnings are important. It appears you have multiple boundary conditions or contacts or joints applied the same entities. This will cause conflicts and the conditions will not be applied correctly. A suggestion would be to see if your model can solve with just fixed supports and gravity, then add conditions from there. nNovember 16, 2020 at 10:51 pmbibas
SubscriberThanks for the answer,nWhen you say just fixed supports do you mean change those revolute joints?nNovember 17, 2020 at 6:57 pmGary_S
Ansys EmployeeAny sort of analysis that can prove that the model holds together under it own weight. nStart with two parts. Fix one and apply gravity. Confirm that the model solves.nAdd the next part in and so on. nViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘The solver engine was unable to converge on a solution for the nonlinear problem as constrained.’ is closed to new replies.
