“The Requested S data is not available, the PLNSOL command is ignored” error

I written a code for ANSYS Mechanical evaluating loads on a cylinder. I have fixed the geometry and can get the deformation contour plot that I want. The problem is when I try to obtain the Von Mises stress contour plot it gives me the error "The Requested S data is not available, the PLNSOL command is ignored". When I input other codes I have done in the past I am able to get the stress contour plots, so I am not quite sure what the problem is. My desktop is too small to change the launcher settings from Use Distributed Computing" to "Use Shared Memory Parallel"  and since other codes work I don't think this is necessarily the problem. Thank you for the help. I have attached my code.

Hi Ashish,nThanks for the tip. However, I already tried enabling Use Shared-Memory Parallel (SMP) before and this doesn't solve my problem unfortunately. However, maybe this is because I am running an input-file created in Ansys Mechanical. Do you know how to enable SMP in APDL commands?nCheers, Koenn

hey guys, i tried to change the performance settings from distributed computed to used shared parallel, but still i could not get the Stress results..But for the nodal solutions, there are results..and the error still shows * ansys apdl the requested s data is not available the plnsol command is ignored*...Is there any solutions for this?.n

This error might occur if you did not issue a set command prior to plotting.nExample:nset, last ! read the last data setn
