I used "BOUNDARY SALE MESH FACE "to set the Non-reflective boundary condition, but Non-reflective boundary
condition does not take effect. What should I do to resolve the problem?

Hi,
Non-reflective boundary condition (NRBC) does not have an easy solution because waves can behaves in complex manners when they hit the boundaries. Efforts to dampen out these waves have limited efficiency. NRBC MUST be applied to a free boundary face FAR away from the P source. If it is too close to the P source, it cann not dampen out high magnitude P pulse. So you should do a simple 1 row model, trying to propagate a p pulse. Then make this row longer and longer and apply the same input to find out how far away (from the P source) you need to have for this NRBC to work effectively. Then apply that to your model.Â
