I want to add a damping matrix in ANSYS cyclic symmetry and set the rotation speed to 1 in order to obtain the structure's gyro matrix. However, damping cannot be used in cyclic symmetry. I would like to use the matrix T from the formulas to obtain it, but my attempts to backtrack the T matrix from the mode shapes have not yielded correct results. Is there a way to obtain the matrix TTT through ANSYS or to acquire the gyro matrix under cyclisymmetry boundary conditions in ANSYS? Thank you!c

Hi,
Need your help to understand the query clearly.
Can you please let me know the final objective here?
Are you using mechanical or APDL?
Are you trying to simulate Modal cyclic symmetry analysis with coriolis effect on?
If yes, the following example may be useful.
Ansys help -> MAPDL ->Cyclic symmetry analysis guide ->Example cyclic symmetry analyses ->5.8. Example Rotating Cyclic Symmetry Modal Analysis with Coriolis Effects
You have mentioned that "damping cannot be used in cyclic symmetry", Are you trying to mention about the cyclic symmetry harmonic analysis?
Please let me know.
