SubscriberHi Dear,
I have run simulation to study the scattering from metaparticle using TFSF with propagation angle 60 in TE and TM mode, the TE mode works fine but when I run the TM mode it diverges. so could you please help me modify my input file.

Ansys EmployeeHi Areej,
The first step in any divergence issue is to identify if it is due to the PML boundaries or if it is a stability issue. I will recommend you to visit this page: Troubleshooting diverging simulations in FDTD. You can change all the PML boundaries to Metal boundaries and let me know if the simulation converges or not.

SubscriberHi Amrita,
thank you so much for your advice, I will try that and see what I will get, I wantted to add that I run it for a range of wavelength and each file with single wavelength it works fine from 455 to 615 and start t diverge after that. any way I will try what you recomended and see.
