There is a system coupling error below. Please let me know how I can fix it.

It seems to be a problem with your structural system. Do you want to say more about your structural setup and how you did the coupling?

Hello teams,
For dual fuel, hydrogen is premixed with the air at IVC. We normally make a mixture using IVC Calculator. There are many options to calculate each specie mass fraction like at IVC before injections, exhaust, premixed after injection and dual fuel injections. Do I need to go with premixed after injection? I am confused with the values. Is it like we need to check the secondary fuel option and put the mass fraction of one of the fuels 0mg as it will be injecting directly into the cylinder and we will put the mass fraction of other fuel as 90mg (which will be the 90% if the total mass of both fuels is 100mg)? After it, we write the values of phi and EGR and will get the values in the bottom right section.
There is another option i.e., dual fuel between injections. Which one is right to select -

It is a propeller simulation, and its setup is as follows.
In the structural model,
- material was chosen as aluminum alloy from “General Materials” in Engineering Data
- fluid-solid interface on blade faces that have data transfer
- fixed support at the root
In the system coupling component,
- created data transfer for the overlapped blade faces
- added output frequency as “All Steps”
- then simulated by “update” the solution

Hello,
Please check the participant (fluent and mechanical) log files to know the cause of the failure?
If you are working in Workbench, find them at:
Fluent transcript: progress_files > DP0 > FFF > Fluent > solution.trn
Mechanical output file: DP0 > SYS > MECH > solution.out
SyC log file: DP0 > SC > SC > SyC > scLog.scl
If working with standalone System Coupling. Find them at:
Fluent transcript: Fluent_1 > solution.trn
Mechanical output file: Mechanical_2 > solution.out
SyC log file: SyC > scLog.scl
Ensure that individual participants (fluent and mechanical alone) works well before coupling with representative load on coupling interfaces. Review the BC’s in fluent and run it in Fluent only mode first.

When system coupling run fails with error:
"*** ERROR *** CP = 0.078 TIME= 13:31:29
MAPDL is unable to connect to the system coupling service on XXXX through port #####. Check the -schost and -scport options on the APDL command line in the System Coupling analysis and ensure that the host name and the port number are correct. "
The workaround is to set this environment variable before starting System Coupling:
ANSYS_RPC_LOCALACCESSONLY=1 -

Finally, the system coupling is working based on the suggested environmental setting. But it still showed the “SyCGUI has stopped working” error when I tried to launch the application. Please let me know how I can fix this error.

Eun,
This appears to be system related issue. Please create another thread for this error and systems team will help you with it.
