SubscriberHello everyone,
I have a student license which will expire in 12 days (though I am still a student). Is there any way I can renew the license without having to re-install ANSYS?
Thanks in advance.

Forum ModeratorNo. The licence is embedded within the Student build. Think of it as an opportunity to upgrade the software at the same time.Â

Ansys EmployeeI agree with Rob. Grab the latest copy from our website which will keep you going for next one year. If you still wish to continue with the current product, grab the license-extended product from our website, product will run for the next 6 months.Â

SubscriberRe-install ANSYS is a good choose and you can install the new version directly without uninstalling the old version. Initially, I am worried that there will have trouble in opening the old case and data, however, everything is ok.

SubscriberHello, Vishal Ganore. I have encountered another problems and wish to get your help.
1.I use the multiphase Eulerian-Eulerian model, and i want to use the  collisional dissipation of energy of ourselves. It can be loaded in Fluent by the form of UDF when partial differential equation of granular temperature Model is used, however, the source term of granular temperature disappear when select the algebraic formulation. I want to know if there exist an interface of collisional dissipation of energy when choice the algebraic formulation.

2.In the UDF, i want to get the gradient of granular temperature, how can i realize it in ansys2023.I have tried the way C_T_G and set in the TUI: solve->set->expert, but there have some trouble.

I really wish to get your reply and thank you in advance.
