SubscriberI have a PEM fuel cell, which is a multi body rectangular prism with serpentine channels at 90 degree turns. I set share topology on, and set the meshing method to hex dominant for all the parts. My goal is to achieve a mesh that looks like the PEMFC tutorial (
) but instead it looks like the attached pic
. Mesh fails for Sweep and multizone methods. Any tips for achieving a good structured mesh?

Forum ModeratorI would let other CFD experts chime in, but you should not be using Hex Dominant mesh method for CFD meshes as far as I know.

SubscriberAfter repairing the geometry in spaceclaim I was able to use multi zone method, now everything works great. Thanks!
