SubscriberHi
I was trying to get reactions by defining *DATABASE_SPCFORC. In my model, I applied 305 mm upward displacement at one end of the first pipe and tried to get reactions at the middle span nodes of the second and third pipe. Since, I ran this in HPC, I have to run
ls-dyna_mpp_d_r8_0_0_95359_x64_redhat54_ifort131_sse2_mpich313.l2a binout0000Â
But I am not getting spcforc that has been requested. Can anyone help me what to do?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Is the spcforc output shown when the binout file is opened in LS-PrePost?
Does the model have the *BOUNDARY_SPC keyword?

SubscriberHi
Yes, the model does have *BOUNDARY_SPC keyword. While opening d3plot in LSDyna prepost, we were not able to see spcforc. In another model, I did the exact procedure and upon running ls-dyna_mpp_d_r8_0_0_95359_x64_redhat54_ifort131_sse2_mpich313.l2a binout0000, we got elout and spcforc. But in this specific model, I am not able to see spcforc, only eloout was found. Don't understand what are the issues behind that.

Ansys Employee1. Try reading binout0000 directly into LS-PrePost. (The other binout**** files should be also read automatically if they are present in the working directory.) 2. d3hsp should report which binout* file contains spcforc, if in fact spcforc data is written. Edit d3hsp and look for "The following binary output files are being created". -

SubscriberThe issues have been resolved. Basically, there was another binout0003 file where the spcforc was written. So, when I ran this instead of binout0000, I found spcforc. Thanks.

Ansys EmployeeThanks for the update. I should have noticed you typed "l2a binout0000" instead of "l2a binout*".
