Hi all! I'm running ANSYS 2021 R1 in bootcamp on my mac. I'm trying to model a simple building frame under static structural.

While modelling in spaceclaim, surfaces are created automatically when I try to draw beams and columns that form a closed-loop. When I try to delete the surface, the lines get deleted too. I don't need surfaces as I'm trying to analyze a beam and column frame. I don't remember having this problem, while working on my windows pc with ANSYS.

Any suggestions for this problem?

Check the Construction box. That prevents a closed loop of curves from turning into a surface.
