New to Lumerical and wondering if there is a monitor type which can determine the state of polarisation of light passing through it?Â

Dear Subscriber,
Since the full vectorial field information is typically available from the simulation, it should be possible to calculate the state of polarization.
Additionally, you can use the 'Polarization Ellipse Analysis Group' object. For reference, please see the following example: Calculating the far field polarization ellipse.Best regards,
