SubscriberHi,nI'm trying to do a parametric study using Fluent in Workbench. And I'm trying to change geometry parameters in the parameter set and update design points. However, I've encountered an error of 'Model information is incompatible with incoming mesh. Fluent failed to apply some mesh operations'. I tried to solve this issue in another post (the link is attached below) but was not able to solve it in Fluent settings. Rob suggested that it should be solved in Workbench, are there any suggestions for this error?nMy previous post about the same error: /forum/discussion/24740/mesh-incompatible-error-when-changing-geometry-parameter-in-fluent/p1?new=1n -

SubscriberHi Keyur,nFor each part, I'm using conformal mesh, but across parts, it's non conformal. I'm using the standard k-epsilon model. Thanks for your help!n -

SubscriberHi Keyur,I have updated my mesh so that it's also conformal across parts. However, when I change the geometry parameters and update the design point, the Fluent window will close. And there is a message The Mesh component in Fluid Flow (Fluent) for Design Point 1 requires user input before it can be updated. For instructions on how to address the cell in its current state, click the blue triangle in the lower right corner of the cell in the Project Schematic. When I open the mesh, it seems like the contact regions have changed. Therefore, the previous mesh settings are not working. Is there a way to avoid this?nThanks!n -

SubscriberI solved the issue by changing the parts in a component in Spaceclaim so that the bodies which have special mesh settings are in the same component.n
