SubscriberHello!
Â
I am currently working on a study using the SOFC model with unresolved electrolyte. I am getting a very low current. If I lower my applied voltage in the cathode terminal, the calculated reading is also lower which should not. If I increase the number of iterations, it will reach a very low value of about 6e-06 A.
With this residuals, i think my solution has already converged.Â
Â
Â
Given the residual values, I don't think that this is associated with my mesh. All the parameters I'm using are from the literature. Do you have any recommendations on how can I fix this?
Â
Thank you very much!

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Make sure you are not underrelaxing the solution. Also look at the fluxes as this is more important in judging the convergence before looking at the solution.
Best,
John

SubscriberHello, John!
Â
I lowered the urf because i'm encountering a floating error at the initial stage of my iterations, and that helped.Â
Thank you John for this. I already applied convergence criteria in my residual and in the report definition.Â
Thank you!
