Dear,
Â
I am using transient structural to simulate a simple cylinder deformation under rotation, I have 6654 nodes and 4622 Element (a very small model)
I was having some wornings before but the model was solved completely. However I had to switch my work into another computer (Same license and same carachteristic and Higher ram )
Then the model stopped to work totally due to errors :
Internal solution magnetitude is exceededÂ

Thanks for the suggestion,
I check all those resources before posting this request,
As I mentioned before the simulation was running fine and now I am getting the errors of exceeding the limits

Hey,
Did you use the same Ansys versions while solving both the cases ?
You said that there were some warnings while solving can you post the screenshot of those warnings.
Do check out this course and set your contact up properly. Prevent Rigid Body Motion in Contact - Innovation Space (ansys.com)
Since you are performing a transient analysis do you have proper settings for timesteps or is it using program controlled. If its program controlled i would suggest providing sufficiently small timesteps to see what is causing the issue.
If you have a few converged steps, check the deformation plots and idenity the cause through that.
Let me know how it works out.
Thanks.

In the picture below the simulation run correctly those are the warnings
now the simulation does not work at all.
Yes for https://innovationspace.ansys.com/product/prevent-rigid-body-motion-in-contact/Â Â Â Â I applied everything in it
I used the previous paramters and I even devided the time step 10 time .Â
I do not have any converged step now

Hey,
The warning suggests that the BCs you have in the model might not be enough to constrain the body and there is rigid body motion in one or more direction.
If you think you have the right setup try switching the weak springs on in analysis settings and check if you can solve it after that.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply
despite of the wornings the model was solving correctly and the output was very compared to even the experiment.
The issue when I moved the model to the new computer it stop to solve totally, I did not change anything.
The error shown is that Internal solution magnetitude is exceeded.
