Simulation error with Maxwell & Simplorer

Hello all, I have chosen a RMxprt example model with above ratings. In RMxprt model is working fine but  When I convert that model in maxwell 2d and run a cosimulation in Simplorer. Motor does showing zero in omega when the motion setup 1_out port is not connected to any torque source.

Kindly, let me know where I am going wrong. If there are any suggested reference or books for Induction motor stator and rotor geometry design please write that would be great help.

      Hi @Vinay_G,

I did not understand what is the problem you are facing. are you getting any error messages?

Please share the error message if any.

      Regards,

      Hello,

Sorry I am not getting any error messages, as simulation runs successfully but couldn’t see any speed (shows 0) without a torque source to the motion setup 1_out port.

      Hello @Vinay_G,

The connection in the picture is incorrect. You cannot have two mechanical ground.

      Hello @GLUO,

Thanks for the reply, I am stuck here can you please help me in the right connections for motion setup ports. I am not getting any speed value.

      Hi @Vinay_G,

Are you trying to simulate motor working at no-load condition?

      Hello @GLUCO,

Yes, I am trying to run motor at no load with voltage source inverter or a ac voltage source. As I need to make this in simplorer.

      Hi @Vinary_G,

It looks like a induction motor in your picture. Please try connect the following blocks to your MotionSetup1_in.

      Hello GLUO,

Thanks a lot for the reply, Yes it is a induction motor.

I will definetely try to simulate the model including these components but will motor won't run by itself in simplorer by just connecting a source to it?

      Have a great day!
