SubscriberHi there. I'm fairly new to HFSS and whenever I try to simulate my switch I get the error, "Could not preserve critical nodes. Simulation completed with execution error on server". Could anyone shed some light on how to resolve this?

Ansys Employee@Zorah - are you working with an imported geometry? Can you please upload a screenshot of your model?

Subscriber@Peter. Thank you for getting back to me. The geometry was not imported. I made it myself in an attempt to recreate another researcher's work on a switch. The design is in no way my own and all credit is due to Miss. Sadia Yonus. I have attached images of the switch I have attempted to recreate.
The boundary conditions: All faces selected and assigned radiation
Excitation: Waveport with integration line defined from signal to ground and number of modes 1.
Solution setup:
Do let me know if you need any more information regarding the project.Â
Anticipating your response,
Zorah Ahmad.

Ansys EmployeeCan you upload a copy of this model? - After looking at your other model, you may have the same issues as with that one...
