Hi all,

I want to add an obstruction to an artery as in this video from the ansys course, attached also an image of that geometry(https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=11&v=zB_Se_SB0E0&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fcourses.ansys.com%2F&source_ve_path=Mjg2NjY&feature=emb_logo). Attached you can find my geometry, it is a faceted solid. I want to simplify the geometry so that adding the obstruction works, simply deleting faces(to add the obstruction there) does not seem to work and gives me an error. Can anyone help?

Hello, 

Here is the quick summary of Adding Obstructions to the Original Artery Geometry | Ansys. Can you please let me know at which step are facing this issue as per the steps mentioned in the above course? 

Instead of merge tool, you can use Fill tool to merge those faces and see if that helps.
