SubscriberDear colleagues
I need help to solving my shell element model, my model experiencing error and several warning. One of the warning is convergence problem.
To solve this problem i try to refine the mesh, unfortunately even with 5 mm mesh size didn't solve the problem.
Is there anything wrong with my model setup?
Does solver type can affect this ? because right now i'm using "direct" solver, not iterative.
My model is attached in this post.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Thank youÂ

SubscriberMesh everything with an element size of 25 mm. Smaller elements with a plasticity material model make it harder to converge.
You can use a single step analysis with 30 mm of displacement.
Use Initial and Minimum Substeps of 30 and it will solve to the end.
