SubscriberI tried to switch from bonded contacts to shared topology as suggested in other posts. I tried to do this because my solid body parts were coming apart and to cut back on processing time. I keep getting the error:A body was processed that had faces with no facets. Does anyone know how to fix this? My model was a solid body and worked perfectly fine before trying to share topology in Spaceclaim. I am using R1 2020 but will update to R2 soon. n -

AdministratorCould you please share an image of your geometry? nPlease take a look at the following thread and see if the suggestions there help you.
Hello,
I obtained the following error when importing my geometry into ANSYS Mechanical: "A body was processed that had faces with no facets. Mesh generation and mass property calculations may be impacted.". Any advice on how to remove this error as the software does not give any hints towards resolving the error.
Thank you

SubscriberThank you, Kremella! I didn't see this post when I searched before. It was very helpful! The error made me think there was a serious foundational issue, but there are only a few spots to fix. n -
