      Hello everyone,

      I am confused about the derivation of the constitutive equation for Shape Memory Alloys in LS-DYNA Theory Manual. 

      When the bulk and shear modulus are functions of the martensite fraction according to formula (23.30.4), the formula (23.30.15) about (F_trial and belta) is obtained.

      What does the expression in formula (23.30.27) look like and what's the difference between in formula （23.30.16）

      Hello,

      in (23.30.16) is calculated at the timestep n, so it is the same as .

        can be obtained using Equations (23.30.15) and (23.30.16).
