Good day, I am trying to replicate the prison and reed valve simulation provided as an Ansys tutorial, however, I am unsure how to create the porous zones/ "gasket" used in the video. All that was said was that a UDF was used to assign the zones.

Have a look at the gap model in Fluent. There are some built in functions to stop flow as components nearly touch as we can't allow contact in Fluent with MDM.Â
