SubscriberHello everyone.
I am currently trying to perform a buckling analysis using "LS Dyna".
I don't understand the difference between performing an eigenvalue buckling analysis from a static structural analysis and performing an analysis with LS Dyna.
In fact, when proceeding with the analysis, which analysis would be better to perform? -

Ansys EmployeeHi ikeponn723,
In short, perform an eigenvalue buckling analysis when you need to assess the potential for buckling and critical load factors.
Use static structural analysis for general load and stress assessments. For a thorough understanding, especially in design, combining both approaches is often beneficial.
Cheers, Ram

SubscriberThank you for teaching me.
I will analyze and consider "LS Dyna", "Static Structural Analysis", and "Eigenvalue Buckling Analysis".
Thank you in advance.
