SubscriberI have a body with a hole in the middle which is divided into 5° sections. I would like to create an Excel file of the areal moment of inertia of the cut faces of the body in 5° steps (in my case, Ixx).
My question is whether it is possible to select faces by their angle to the XZ plane and to output a data set in Excel.

Forum ModeratorHi Philipp,ÂÂYes, its possible to measure the angle between the faces and XZ plane and get the output in excel.Once you measure the angle, you can use "if loop" to filter out faces based on measured value.ÂCan you please share the screenshot of the geometry so that I can help you better? What exactly do you want as output in excel the measured value of angle for all faces or the moment of inertia?ÂÂRegardsAtharv -
