Seeking Guidance on TUI Commands for Parametric Study in Ansys Fluent

      Hello Ansys Community,

I hope this message finds you all well. I am currently working on a parametric study in Ansys Fluent, and I'm seeking some guidance on using TUI (Text User Interface) commands to enhance the efficiency of my workflow.

Here's a brief overview of my situation:

      1. Parametric Study: I'm conducting a parametric study in Ansys Fluent, exploring the behavior of a fluid dynamic system under various input conditions.

      2. Report Definitions: I've assigned specific report definitions as output parameters to capture essential data during the simulations.

      3. TUI Commands: I've successfully created the TUI commands for my parametric study, enabling the generation of design point tables.

Now, I would like to take it a step further and utilize the power of the TUI commands for reporting and monitoring. Specifically, I'm interested in using the "Report File" and "Report Plot" options under the Monitor's tab to track and visualize the values of my report definitions (e.g., Lift) separately for each input condition.

I believe that harnessing the full potential of these TUI commands can significantly streamline my workflow and provide valuable insights into the parametric study results. However, I'm currently facing a bit of a learning curve with these commands.

Hence, I kindly request your expertise and guidance. If anyone has experience or insights into how to efficiently utilize TUI commands for creating reports and plots based on parametric study results, I'd greatly appreciate your assistance.

Your shared knowledge will not only help me but may also benefit others in the Ansys community who are working on similar projects.

Thank you in advance for your support and insights. I look forward to hearing from you.

      Best regards,
      Paul

I would always build a model using the GUI and then use TUI commands to save/update the reports once a model has run. Creating all of the plots etc using just TUI commands, to then save the object, combine objects etc is "simple" but a lot of work. I'm also the person responsible for writing1500 line journal files to set up and then post process models.

Everything will be in the /display or /report section, but be aware some of the Parameter commands may not be fully set up as it's a relatively new feature and I've seen missing GUI/TUI commands a few times as we've added new features.
