 Yes, you can change hatching line thickness in SpaceClaim options (File>SpaceClaim options> Detailing-General) as shown in figure below. To see the lineweight you need to check ‘lineweight’ option in Display>Show. The lineweight can be changed between thin/medium/thick and the lineweight values (in mm) can be changed as per your convenience.

 

is it possible to inherit the crosshatch in a level?

 I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by ‘Inherit cross hatch in a level’. Can you please explain in detail (if possible, with a screenshot) about what your requirement is?

It is not possible to have cross hatching as separate layer (level). I would encourage you to suggest it in Idea section.
