RUN TIME DURATION

  Sir,
  
  While doing fine mesh my ansys software is taking too long. It is not the problem of my laptop processor. My laptop has the minimum requirement to run the program.
  
  Also while doing ansys my intel processor is running instead of my Nvidia. And the colour of my ansys workbench icon is grey instead of yellow.
  
  Hope you will resolve my problem.

  Please define "too long", this is engineering software and runs routinely take hours, days and (for CFD) weeks. Depending on your settings there may not even be a solution.
  
  The Student licence entitles you to run on the cpu, not the gpu so I wouldn't expect the graphics card load to be high.

  I was only doing a structural analysis of a simple geometry. I provided the mesh size as 50mm. Then also it was taking hours . Is there a way to change the load from intel to gpu. Is it logically correct to wait for days for analyzing a simple geometry?
  
  What if we needed it urgently?
