      Good day

      I'm a postgrad student working on my thesis. I require a validation case to validate my modeling approach for both modal and harmonic analysis of a bearing rotor system. I have found papers that compare analytical results of different models and software packages for validation purposes, but none that compare a modeling approach to experimental data for validation. I was hoping that the community could provide me with a good experimental dataset for validating my Ansys model.

      Ansys wouldn't be the source of experimental data.  Perhaps ROMAC, which provides both physical testing and rotordynamics software would be.
