ROTOR DOMAIN MESHING

May I know your opinion if this is a good mesh? I applied a positive 45 degree lean angle of my fan blades and a pitch angle of 27 degree at the same time. The blades are 2 mm thick with a tip diameter of 746.125 mm. I attached the  mesh quality metrics and my meshing

      .

As it's a poly-hexcore you need to check the Ortho-skew/quality. You also need to consider the "other" mesh that the rotor is linked to: how good is that?

Hi rob. Thanks for your reply. The min ortho quality for the rotor mesh is 0.2569 while the max skewness is 0.8319. Other domain (stator outlet and inlet) meshes linked with this domain tends to have the same min ortho qual equal to approx 0.25 (for outlet) and 0.5 for inlet. Skewness are lower for the other 2 domains around 0.5 value. Is this good? Thank you.

Cell quality looks good. Now how do the flow gradients look. Judging mesh quality (especially resolution) is much harder and generally happens after the run.

I didnt try to simulate it yet. I will keep you posted on this. Thank you.
